After too much technical reading, I got myself something entirely different (in parallel, of course). Those who know me know how much I liked Tolkien's The Lord Of The Rings. Now I have The Hobbit :).
I only got to read the first page this morning, and it's already great. I'm so much into these fantasy worlds, and with Tolkien you can just feel how much he loves what he creates. It passes it to you also.
It reminded me of my father, and how much he's been reading to me when I was 2-3 years old. Nice stuff for kids, like Robinson Crusoe and White Fang, books that i still am very font of. If I'll ever get to the "having kids" thing, It's definitely Tolkien I'll want to read to them first. I cannot imagine anything more beautiful to shape one's mind and conception of good and life, and fight and everything (no, if you only saw the movie you don't know what I'm talking about :P). Of course, my wife would have to do all the "back to reality" damage control :).
